Where do I even begin when talking about Joey and Allison. They have been one of my biggest supporters since the start of my business. I love Allison to pieces and I am so excited to photograph her wedding this fall. Allison’s son, Frankie was one of the first little kids that I had the privilege of photographing. Since then, I have done multiple sessions with her and her family. However, her recent shoot goes down as my all time favorite because we came together to capture Joey and Allison’s engagement. I am so excited that these two are finally tying the knot! They were truly made for one another. Whenever I see them, I always like to point out that they were born in the wrong decade… and they agree! They LOVE the Beatles, old records, and anything vintage. Apart from their retro lifestyle, they also love Disneyland. UP is their favorite Disney movie and when we brainstormed their engagement session, they decided that they were going to incorporate all of their favorite things into one session. From bow ties, to record players, to the most amazing vibrant yellow chairs I have ever seen, this session portrayed Joey and Allison to the tee. We photographed their shoot in Allison’s childhood backyard and it was the best setting because their little Frankie was able to pose for a few shots and then take breaks and hang out in the house. I loved all the creative details of their session and I’m looking forward to seeing what they’ll do on their wedding day. It’s going to be awesome! Congrats Joey and Allison!
