Lifestyle Session: Chelsea | La Jolla, CA | Analisa joy Photography | San Diego, CA Photographer

Are you all ready for this? This has to be one of my favorite blog posts of all time! I am super excited to introduce my best friend, second shooter, assistant, and right hand lady, Chelsea. In the photography world it is complicated trying to find a full time assistant. Photography is often an independent business so you never know if people want to help you so that they can learn your trade and later run off with it to better their own. Luckily, that is not the case with Chelsea. She is such an amazing and trustworthy assistant. Chelsea has a passion for photography and has a keen eye for detail. I love how great she is with my clients and her eagerness to be helpful. We have effortless communication when we work together and she is always adored by the couples that we photograph. Earlier this year, Chelsea chopped off over 11 inches of hair for the Locks of Love campaign. This summer I started, ‘”Joyful Giver” and gave away one free photo session each month in recognition of kind acts. I kicked off Joyful Giver by rewarding Chelsea and then I left it up to my followers to nominate someone new each month. Our photo season filled up our schedules so her session kept getting pushed back. We finally managed to squeeze in a shoot and I could not be more happy with the results. Our friend Riley tagged along to help pair jewelry. She works for the line, Chloe + Isabel and we were incredibly impressed by her gift in pairing. She always knew what would look perfect with each out. It’s the little details that make all the difference! I am so excited to share these images with you all. Enjoy!
