Proposal: Bobby & Addie | Analisa Joy Photography | San Diego, CA Wedding Photographer

One of the main reasons I love my job is that I have the privilege of being a part of so many once in a lifetime moments. It’s even more special when the people you are capturing are some of your closest friends. Bobby was one of my first friends when I entered my new high school. We had almost every class together and we were always getting in trouble in school for laughing in class. Bob is truly one of the funniest guys that I know. He met Addie in college and when he told me about her, I knew she was the one. Their relationship was effortless and she had all the characteristics that Bobby was looking for in a wife. When I finally had the honor of meeting Addie I knew we would be great friends. We shared a love for Celine Dion, she’s in the wedding industry, and our significant others are very close friends.

Bobby planned this proposal for three months. These two have been in a long distance relationship for a long time while Bobby finished school and Addie traveled for work. However, distance never seemed to be a factor in their relationship and their love continued to grow even when they were states apart. On their short visit home, Addie was supposed to meet at Bobby’s parents house so they could carpool and pick him up from the airport. When she arrived, Bobby was already waiting in the backyard with flowers, candles, a gorgeous background, and a diamond ring. After she said yes, the surprises continued when Addie’s closest family and friends popped out from the house. It was a perfect day filled with lots of love! I’m so thankful I was able to capture this special time in their life and I’m already counting down the days until their wedding day. Congrats Bob and Addie!
