Wow, where do I even begin when describing John and Michelle. They are such a pure hearted couple with a passion for life and for people. John and Michelle met at All People’s Church and they are both leaders in their small groups. Their faith is the main foundation of their relationship and it was displayed throughout their entire wedding day. Through prayer, verses, and worship this sweet couple made sure to incorporate the love that they share for God and for one another in every detail. John and Michelle had a backyard wedding that was packed with their closest family and friends. Even though hundreds joined them at their ceremony, their pastor did a wonderful job making sure that their special moment was intimate and personal. I loved that they had members from their church lead worship and when they retold their love story with all the hilarious in between details. They wrote their own vows and the guests were in tears along with John’s sweet brother/best man. I always love watching the tough groomsmen tear up!
John and Michelle emphasized that they wanted their marriage to be an adventure and within minutes of being husband and wife we ventured off to their first adventure. Behind the beautiful house where they got married was a huge field surrounded by large hills that were covered with flowers and boulders. In order to approach the hill you had to walk through shoulder high bushes with no trails in sight. In her lace dress and flower crown, John picked up his bride and carried her to the hills so that she wouldn’t get her dress dirty or get attacked by the thorny bushes. When they approached the hill, Michelle hiked up her dress and in her heels she climbed up a boulder so that we could get the perfect shot. As a photographer, these two were my ideal bride and grooms. They night ended with a packed dance floor and it was so sweet to watch John and Michelle dance with all their guests for the entire night. Everyone stayed until the last song and gave a sparkler farewell to the amazing couple. It was a perfect day with the perfect pair. Congrats John and Michelle!
